                                                 Ethyleneglycol,cyclicsulfate (DTD)

Chemical name

1,3,2-Dioxathiolane 2,2-dioxide; ethyleneglycol,cyclicsulfate

Molecular formula: C2H4O4S

Molecular weigh: 124.12

CAS No.: 1072-53-3

Function

DTD is to inhibit the decline of the battery's initial capacity, increase the initial discharge capacity, reduce battery expansion after being placed at high temperature, and improve the battery's charge-discharge performance and cycle times.

Application

DTD was investigated as co-solvent for PC based electrolytes in combination with a graphite electrode. An amount of 10wt% of DTD in PC was used to form an effective and stable SEI on graphite during the first cycle.

Package and storage

25KG per vacuum bag package; stored in cool and dry place at recommended storage temperature of 0-10℃. Shelf life is 2 months.
